{"id":57,"date":"2010-01-11T10:15:27","date_gmt":"2010-01-11T15:15:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/clinicallysignificantproductions.com\/blog\/?p=57"},"modified":"2010-01-11T12:50:23","modified_gmt":"2010-01-11T17:50:23","slug":"the-future-of-chiropractic-marketing-is-the-web-working-for-or-against-your-practice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.clinicallysignificantproductions.com\/blog\/2010\/01\/11\/the-future-of-chiropractic-marketing-is-the-web-working-for-or-against-your-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"The Future of Chiropractic Marketing: Is the Web Working For or Against Your Practice?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clinicallysignificantproductions.com\/store\/index.php\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-155\" title=\"1230609629\" src=\"http:\/\/clinicallysignificantproductions.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/1230609629.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"88\" height=\"87\" \/><\/a><\/center><br \/>\nNow that it&#8217;s 2010 it seems the ideal time to think about the future of chiropractic marketing and patient communication.\u00a0 That future\u00a0is the internet and social media.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s not\u00a0revolutionary or ground breaking.\u00a0 Honestly it&#8217;s\u00a0nothing that hasn&#8217;t been said\u00a0hundreds of times before; but\u00a0it&#8217;s so important it needs repeating!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Since you&#8217;re reading this and have found this post, it&#8217;s safe to say you&#8217;re comfortable with the internet.\u00a0\u00a0That doesn&#8217;t mean you&#8217;ve tapped the web\u00a0to it&#8217;s full potential for growing your chiropractic practice.\u00a0 I&#8217;d wager you haven&#8217;t even scratched the surface!\u00a0 On the dawn of a new decade I&#8217;d like you to think about investing more of your time, energy, and money in the power of internet marketing.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Print and Phone Books aren&#8217;t Enough Anymore!<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>In my own personal practice\u00a0I&#8217;ve noticed fewer and fewer patients come from\u00a0yellow page\u00a0ads.\u00a0 People\u00a0just don&#8217;t use the phone book like they once did.\u00a0 Why should they?\u00a0 It&#8217;s\u00a0usually more work to find the phone book in hard copy than it is\u00a0to jump on the nearest device connected to the internet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Even the local yellow page ad sales reps know this.\u00a0 Mine generally spends more time pushing the online directory and services than he does the print directory.\u00a0 They&#8217;ve been issuing phonebooks in cd-rom format in many major cities for years now!\u00a0 Isn&#8217;t that a sign of where things are heading?<\/p>\n<p>Other print advertising, while still effective in my practice, is on borrowed time as well.\u00a0 I still\u00a0run some ads in the small local newspapers because\u00a0of affordability.\u00a0\u00a0Although cheap, they aren&#8217;t\u00a0my most effective chiropractic advertising.<\/p>\n<p>So what is one of the most effective and affordable methods of chiropractic marketing?\u00a0 For me it is internet marketing, hands down!\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The future\u00a0is the internet and social media.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Times are changing rapidly.\u00a0 The general public looks to the internet and social more than ever before.\u00a0 After all,\u00a0where do you head when you\u00a0need more information about a company, product, person, or service?\u00a0 Where do you turn\u00a0if you\u00a0need to\u00a0research a certain health condition, drug, or specific medical procedure?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Your potential patients are no exception.\u00a0You know this, and your competition does as well.\u00a0 With this realization in mind, ask yourself:<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Is the internet working <em>FOR<\/em> you\u00a0or <em>AGAINST<\/em> you?<\/h3>\n<p>Are you using the free and low cost resources available via the internet to promote your practice?\u00a0 Are you using them to their full potential? Is your competition?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t have them already, you MUST create the following three things for yourself and\/or your practice:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chiropracticart.com\" target=\"_blank\">A Website<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/clinicallysignificantproductions.com\/blog\" target=\"_blank\">A Blog<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/clinsigpro\" target=\"_blank\">A Twitter account<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>These are the bare minimum.\u00a0 Chances are\u00a0your competition has already\u00a0done this and much\u00a0more!\u00a0 Accomplishing the three\u00a0goals above\u00a0will set\u00a0the foundation\u00a0for using the\u00a0internet to promote your practice in the future.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve already done all of the above then congratulations, but it&#8217;s still not enough.\u00a0 NOW is the time to\u00a0do more.\u00a0 Learn how to take your chiropractic marketing on the internet to the next level.\u00a0 Join other social media sites. Learn about press releases,\u00a0pay per click,\u00a0rss feeds, article writing,\u00a0and more!<\/p>\n<p>Having a strong internet presence isn&#8217;t a chiropractic marketing afterthought anymore.\u00a0 It is a must!\u00a0 You must learn to tap the power of the\u00a0web to its full potential. . . only then will the internet work for YOU and not for the practice down the street.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Now that it&#8217;s 2010 it seems the ideal time to think about the future of chiropractic marketing and patient communication.
