This painting features a lateral view of the human spine painted in gloss black oil on two canvases with a beautiful neutral stippled/marbled background in different shades of grey, blue, beige or green. The painting measures approximately 12" wide x 48" tall x about 3/4" deep overall. That's right! FOUR FEET TALL! If you want to hang the canvases with a gap between them as shown add about 1" to the overall height. Each individual canvas measures approximately 12" x 24" x about 3/4" deep.
The canvases are "gallery" or "museum" wrapped meaning the canvas is stretched around the edges and stapled on the back of the stretcher bars for no visible staples. The painting edges are finished and the painting is designed to be hung as is, or you may choose to have it custom framed to suit your tastes at your local framing shop.
This large painting makes a dramatic impression and is a fresh change from boring chiropractic wall art. The two canvases look great hung aligned above each other with about a 1/2" to 1" gap between them. Or if you choose, you can stagger them for an even more artistic flair. Your imagination and creativity is pretty much the limit. This painting would look great in a reception room/waiting area, a clinic hallway, an adjusting room . . . or even your Chiropractic home!
These paintings are designed for longevity. They are painted on medium texture acid free canvas which is stretched over wooden stretcher bars. Prior to painting, the canvas is treated to protect against acidic deterioration. It is treated with a non-acidic pH solution and then primed for painting with a universal acrylic titanium formula.
Please note, the painting photos are stock photos of previously purchased pieces. Your painting will look very similar, but since these are done by hand, and not mass produced, no two are exactly alike.

You will receive notification via email when your painting ships out. This notification email will also provide tracking confirmation which you can use to track your shipment. Paintings are shipped wrapped in cardboard via USPS Priority Mail. Insurance is optional, but always recommended since we can't be held responsible for lost or damaged packages once they are out of our hands and in the possession of the shipping carrier.
