These are hand painted by a Chiropractor, for Chiropractors! This painting features a superior/bird's eye veiw of the Atlas, hand painted in gloss black oil, on a beautiful neutral background.
The background is a beautiful multilayered stippled speckled background with some light spattering as well. The picture shown is our grey multi-toned speckled background painted in various different shades of grey. Light to medium grey is the predominant background color, with some dark grey spatters throughout and just touches of blue here and there. It's a neutral background which would look equally well on a grey, white, or blue wall...even a beige wall for some contrast. Other background options are available. (See the solid sand colored and solid red background in the sample pictures for an example.)

The painting measures approximately 24" wide x 12" tall x about 3/4" deep overall.
The canvas is "gallery" or "museum" wrapped meaning the canvas is stretched around the edges and stapled on the back of the stretcher bars for no visible staples. The painting edges are finished and the painting is designed to be hung as is, or you may choose to have it custom framed to suit your tastes at your local framing shop. This large painting makes a dramatic impression and is a fresh change from boring chiropractic wall art.
These paintings are designed for longevity. They are painted on medium texture acid free canvas which is stretched over wooden stretcher bars. Prior to painting, the canvas is treated to protect against acidic deterioration. It is treated with a non-acidic pH solution and then primed for painting with a universal acrylic titanium formula.
Prefer a different color background, a solid colored background, or maybe even a plain blank canvas background? Simply make your selection when checking out. You will receive the grey background similar to the one pictured unless you specify a different background color.

Paintings are shipped wrapped in cardboard via USPS Priority Mail. Insurance is optional, but always recommended since we can't be held responsible for lost or damaged packages once they are out of our hands and in the possession of the shipping carrier.
