Posted on August 9th, 2011 by Dr. James

I just recently posted this over at the ChiropracticPR.com blog, and thought I’d share it here as well. Recently while shopping for new computer chairs for at home and the offices, I stumbled across a site. . .

Chiropractic Social Media Marketing: Take Time for Success

Posted on February 1st, 2010 by Dr. James

In this world of instant gratification we often waste valuable time and energy looking for the chiropractic marketing Holy Grail. The problem is things don’t work this way. Clicking a few buttons won’t drive legions of new chiropractic patients into your practice. It never has, and it never will!

Marketing your practice via Twitter and other sites can, and does, work. It is also one of the most cost-effective ways to promote your chiropractic practice. The problem is. . .

Just some quick updates: We’re still looking for submissions for examples of the most creative chiropractic practice name, and for your 3 main goals for 2010. We’re also still donating 10% of all our ebay proceeds to the American Red Cross to benefit Haiti disaster relief and other crisis relief efforts. So save money and stock up now. Also we have some new promotions coming soon . . .

We’ve been moved by the terrible tragedy of the earthquake in Haiti. Looking at the horrible images and heroic efforts of everyone involved it’s hard not to be motivated to take action. We decided donating 10% of all our proceeds earned on our chiropractic products sold on Ebay was the easiest, and fastest way for us to get started. So take a look at our chirorpactic art, chiropractic patient education, and other affordable ebay listings and . . .

Now that it’s 2010 it seems the ideal time to think about the future of chiropractic marketing and patient communication. That future is the internet and social media.

Is the internet working FOR or AGAINST you and your chiropractic practice?

A few months back I had the great left sacro-iliac pain pandemic of 2009. For some unknown reason everyone had sacro-iliac joint pain….but not JUST left SIJ pain. Oh no. That wouldn’t have been strange enough. To make the universe even more mysterious, this was the great localized LEFT-UPPER sacro-iliac joint pain pandemic of 2009.

There has to be more going on here but I can’t figure it out! Nor can I afford to hire the staff of HOUSE M.D. to come figure it out for me. For the sake of my sanity, and to avoid stumbling into conspiracy theory land, I give up!

Instead I’m seizing this opportunity to coin what I believe is a new phrase and a new concept in chiropractic:
“symptom trending.”

Now that I’ve invented this hot new concept all I have to do is convince every Chiropractor on Twitter to start tweeting symptom hashtags. You know, things like: . . .

We want your opinion! What form of chiropractic marketing and advertising generates the most new chiropractic patients for your practice?
